Message for new teachers joining education as their first year teaching: Welcome on board! The amazing school leader and hiring team at your current school who gave you the golden opportunity to join the team with no prior experience are rare nowadays! Something in your personality and mindset caught their attention, making them prioritize you and believe in your abilities. They expect your commitment, and everyone is ready to support you. Stay humble, keep learning, and do your best to impress them with your dedication, hard work, professionalism, and positivity! 💡 PS: What is your message for new teachers?

My mesaage would be: never enter your class without preparation, preparation, and preparation. 1. Try to add fun to your classroom - 1 game can explain a concept, try letting them guess what you are talking about. 2. Be open to questions and welcome them. 3. Listen to students actively 4. Be empathetic 5. Notice different students/notice increasing or decreasing quizzes results and discuss them individually 6. Show the students intentionly that there are some answers you need to search for andbthag you don't have to know all the answers to all the questions 7. Never compare 8. Tell them you read everyday to keep yourself updated 9. Love what you do kids can tell if you're interested in what you do and it will reflect on how they behave Many to share but I believe those 9 +1 tips hopefully will be a good start for new teachers. Thank you Malek Zwein, MEd

-People make mistakes, so no worries. -Don't be shy to ask your experienced colleagues. -Don't be ashamed to tell your students " I don't know or I'm not sure" if you don't know the answer to their questions, tell them "I'll check it for you" and try to tell them the answer as soon as you can. We learn a lot from our students' questions. -Don't be too strict, try to create a flexible balanced classroom. -Be optimistic and smile. Best of luck ✨

I know it’s challenging, I was in your place one day. But be strong, ready to learn, and ask for support.

Keep thriving! Do not hesitate to ask questions or to have a voice! Initiate conversations with your colleagues and leaders. Experienced staff were once beginners and will always be learners. Great achievements in this world started with being open to live experiences, fail and learn from others!
