It's likely in 2024 that legal departments will continue to shift their legal work to mid-size law firms. We also saw that in 2022/2023 overhead costs related to hiring for mid-size firms shot up dramatically! These are champagne problems but hiring can be expensive, time-consuming, and failing to hire can create a bottleneck for all that new business.
