The Secret of Happiness: It is so difficult for people to be happy under all circumstances and so easy to feel miserable. One immutable law of thoughts is all-pervasive, and we observe more in today's society- harbor the same thoughts make a habit of thinking negative and unhealthy thoughts. Just be aware that miseries and despondencies need no talents; anybody can afford to house those uninvited guests permanently.   Happiness needs talents, self-discipline, genius, and creativity. Only creative and purposeful people can ever be happy regardless of their material wealth, power, status, or education. The secret to everlasting happiness is: Forget yourself entirely in the sorrows of others and in ministering to others, and divine happiness will emancipate you from all miseries and sufferings.   Taking the first step with nurturing good thoughts, the second is with good words, and the third with good deeds and actions, I enter paradise. And you also may enter into heaven by pursuing the same course. It is not beyond; it is right here. However, it is realized only by the unselfish and altruist. It's known in its fulness only to those who are pure in hearts. You will begin to actualize happiness by ever holding before you the lofty ideal of unselfish love and aspiring towards it. Our aspirations and prayers are turned higher upward. Buy lofty aspiration s the destructive and harmful forces of desires are transmuted into divine and all-pervading energy.   Abiding happiness with coming to you when ceasing to selfishly cline, you are willing to give up. When you are willing to lose, unreservedly, the impermanent thing that you which is so dear to you, and which whether you like or not will one day be snatched from you, then you will find what seemed like a painful loss, turns out to be a supreme gain. It's always good to give up to gain, be willing to yield up and to suffer loss, and this is indeed the way of a happy life.   We are constantly rushing hither and thither in the blind search for happiness and cannot find it; nor ever will we until we recognize that happiness is already within us and around us, filling the entire universe and that we in our selfish searching for it are shutting ourselves out of it.   Rise above what you are clinging to and shun the cravings for impermanent things, and then only can we enter a consciousness of eternal happiness. All we need to do is to grow more in the spirit of purity, self-sacrifice, and universal love and joy will be ever with you. Mahendra S.
