My sympathies go out to the Lynx employees who have all worked hard over the last few years to build the airline.

“As news of Lynx Airline’s cessation of operations reaches us, I’m filled with a profound sense of sadness. Working alongside the Lynx team, from crew members to operations staff, has been an absolute pleasure. The professionalism, dedication, and warmth exhibited by everyone at Lynx made each interaction memorable and rewarding. While this chapter may be closing, the impact of our collaboration will always be cherished. Wishing the entire Lynx Airline family the best in their future endeavors.” An EFC employee YYC

My heart goes out to my wonderful friends and colleagues at Lynx Air after today’s very sad announcement. The airline industry is not for the faint hearted at the best of times, but it takes a special kind of courage and commitment to launch a start-up airline in Canada in the middle of a pandemic…. a wildcat courage and commitment. To the entire Lynx Air team, you have shaken up the Canadian aviation industry and shown millions of passengers that it is possible to have a great flying experience at an affordable price. You need only look at the saddened messages pouring in on social media to see the positive impact you have had. It was an absolute privilege to share part of the journey with you. Whatever the future holds for you, I know it will be a bright one.

Just when everyone in 🇨🇦 🍁 was able to enjoy affordable ✈️ travel, this has happened 👎. I was looking forward to explore this beautiful nation without breaking my bank, but regrettably, it wouldn't happen.

It’s a difficult day for a team of hard working people that spent the last few years building an airline. Best of luck as you move on to new horizons and adventures.

My heart goes out to all the employees at Lynx. I know several of them well from our aviation backgrounds. It is said that a loss like this can feel like a death in the family. Grieve and take the time you need. Aviation is a passion sometimes beyond just a job and many of you have talents that other airlines will be happy to welcome with open arms. If anyone would like a resume and cover letter review from Lynx to assist in your next job search I would happily do it free of charge. It's what we do for our aviation family.

I am sad to say, ‘you reap what you sow’! As a company you did not address your customers needs, complaints, etc. I know many people who used Lynx once and swore they’d never do so again. I had a terrible experience and when I contacted the company I didn’t even receive any response, nothing not an apology a voucher nothing! I am sad for the employees who will suffer, they did the best they could with the little support they got from the top! You had a golden opportunity to become a great Canadian success but threw that away. I hope you find a way to learn from your mistakes and make a second go of it, but properly!

Sad day for Canadian Aviation. I wish everyone at lynx air the very best as they move forward, particularly my pilot frds there, hopefully won’t take too long before next offer comes. They are all great people, I am sure they will become a strong asset for any company’s success in the future.

Aviation is both a positively infectious and brutally competitive industry and I know the blood, sweat, tears and love that the entire Lynx team will have put in to getting off the ground. I wish all of your team the absolute best as they embark on finding their next adventure. They can and should hold their heads high.
