With another popular question here, I am worried about my 401K. What investments could also grow along with inflation? Yeah, good question here. It's it's no secret that we're in higher inflationary times right now. You know, interest rates are creeping up to almost 5%. The Federal Reserve is not yet done with their monetary tightening policy, they're going to continue raising interest rates for the foreseeable future. You know, plainly spoken though, stocks are the best hedge against inflation over a really long period of time. The S&P 500 averages around 9% a year, so stocks are still the best hedge against inflation. However, there's other investments that we really like and are excited about. Particularly we like the fact that short term fixed income such as certificates of deposit and even some corporate bonds are now yielding between 5 and 6%. So we work with a lot of retirees and folks transitioning into retirement who rely on a fixed income and we really like the fact that now after more than 15 years, we can yield close to A5. Percent coupon on a one year CD, so think about a CD that you've probably bought at a bank at some point, certificate of deposit. So this has the FDIC guarantee. It's very low risk and you get your principal plus interest back when it matures. So 5% for a one year CD. We really love that. We also have a bit of a stylistic bias towards dividend paying stocks. So companies that are large and well established who have a track record. Of growing their dividends overtime. That's a great way to continue to support portfolio income even in volatile markets like this. And last year where you know growth stocks were down 30% but dividend paying stocks were only down by about 10% last year and you still got the benefit of consistent dividend income each quarter from those stocks. So we really favor those dividend payers and companies that can grow their dividends. So I know that just scratches the surface but.
