I spoke to 👨🏻💻 Matthew Ellis, CEO of Scede, an organisation specializing in embedded talent solutions, working with scaling organizations to assist them in recruiting and managing people effectively. Unsurprisingly, we spoke about #recruiterenablement Matt thinks about it in several components: - Recruiter Fundamentals: Essential skills and principles that recruiters need to excel - Processes and Rituals: The procedures and activities that enable the TA unit to function effectively, including interaction with stakeholders - Data: Understanding organisational objectives, metrics, and using data to identify areas of improvement - Access to Resources and Information: Having access to necessary information and resources to perform effectively - Tooling: Utilising tools and technology to enhance performance and efficiency We highlight the importance of viewing recruiter enablement as a product within the organisation, similar to how a company would treat its go-to-market product. Matt explains that within organizations like Scede, where recruiters may represent different companies over time, recruiter enablement becomes even more critical due to frequent shifts in context and brand representation. Overall, the discussion highlights the importance of recruiter enablement, its various components, and its significance within different organisational contexts, particularly in the tech space and embedded talent RPOs.
