As an industry heavily driven by data, insurance has enormous potential to benefit from AI-powered technologies. In a recent online poll, we asked our followers which area they thought would be most impacted by AI over the next five years. Out of 187 respondents, the clear winner (34%) was Claims Processing, where AI is already making big strides. With AI’s ability to speed up claims handling and automate services, it’s no surprise Customer Experience came in second place (26%). Pricing and Underwriting were tied for third place. I am really honored to be nominated for the Mentor of the Year Award by the Women Automotive Network! I was involved in a lot of mentoring activities during the years, all of them as part of the roles i had/continue to have in Luxoft. I built a lot of teams from scratch, facing all the possible challenges, running a lot of transformations and working with people on all levels in order to reach our goals. I mentored SW Engineers, Team and Tech Leads but also PMs, PgMs, Engineering Directors. I have learned a lot from all these mentoring sessions and i have always considered that this is a bidirectional learning not one way only. I consider the mentoring as a very strong tool to help people growing. I grew a lot in this way and i feel the need to return back this as help for the people motivated to engage themselves in this. I am really happy to see that Women Automotive Network drives such activities, while connecting the ladies in the Automotive Industry.
