In alignment with our commitment to sustainability, we're proud to share that we've recently donated expired medical supplies to Medical Pantry. Rather than letting these supplies go to landfill, our Health and Safety Officer Marc, has taken the proactive initiative to organise to donate them to this worthy charity. By repurposing these resources, we're not only extending their useful life but also supporting Medical Pantry to provide essential resources to communities where access to these resources may be limited. Medical Pantry have diverted 15 tonnes of medical supplies from landfill and donated 8 tonnes directly to underserved communities. As a company, we're committed to continually exploring innovative ways to give back and to adopt sustainable practices. This initiative is just one example of how we're using our resources to make a meaningful impact beyond our business. #Sustainability #GiveBack #MakingADifference

How did we bring our purpose to life in 2023? We want to make the world a better place. For our pets, for people, for the planet. 🐱 🐶 2023 brought us closer to realizing this, since during the year we volunteered at 92 pet shelters, donated 520 000 portions of pet food, planted 2000 trees and collected 7 tons of waste across our Central European countries. Check out our great video below, to find out what more we did for a better tomorrow together. #TomorrowStartsToday #MarsCentralEurope #proudlymars

We observe Organ Donation Day, we are reminded of the profound impact that selfless acts of generosity can have on saving lives. We believe in protecting and preserving life in every form, whether it’s through the safety gear we manufacture or by raising awareness about the importance of organ donation. Just as our safety PPE is designed to safeguard workers and ensure they return home safely, organ donation is a powerful way to give others the chance to live full, healthy lives. It's a testament to human kindness and the interconnectedness of our shared humanity. Let’s continue to champion both safety in our workplaces and the gift of life through organ donation. Together, we can make a difference, one life at a time. #KEL #OrganDonationDay #GiftOfLife #SafetyFirst #PPEIndustry #WorkplaceSafety #LifeSaving #HealthAndSafety #DonateLife #HumanityFirst

Every hotel that could participate in this program should be. rethink, redesign, reduce, reuse, and then recycle as a last resort
LinkedIn Top Green Voice | The Circular Economist | Helping Companies Make Less 🗑️ More 💵 | Keynote speaker
This green hero is giving soap a second life: We've all been there... You book a hotel, stay for one night, wash your hands with a tinny soap, and leave... But have you ever wondered what happens to the things you leave behind? Hotels throw out billions of soap bars every year after one use. Most of them go straight to landfill... Pauline Grumel 🌿 from UNISOAP decided to put an end to this. Today, she collects soap from 350 locations across France. She employs people who need it the most. And donates the soap to local charities. According to UNICEF, “Washing your hands with soap is one of the most effective ways to save lives." This simple gesture can reduce the spread of diseases linked to a lack of hygiene by 50%. We need more doers, like Pauline. Agree? PS: Thanks Don Ritzen for bringing this to my radar.
