Diagrams give you the flexibility and ease to visualize your software systems, but they’re difficult to maintain. Change 1 thing, and you’re faced with manually updating countless diagrams 😩 IcePanel combines diagramming with modelling, so you don’t have to sacrifice consistency and maintenance. Modelling lets you: 💡 Create consistent diagrams from a shared group of objects 🔄 Prevent duplicates. When you edit an object, it updates everywhere 📊 See where objects are being used and their dependencies In this example, we changed a data store’s status to future. The object’s status is updated in all other diagrams. All incoming and outgoing connections from the object are also changed to reflect the new state 🪄 #softwarearchitecture #systemdesign #diagramming #modelling
