We're proud of our team! Check out the remarkable work of Dr. Audrey Ruple, who serves on the executive leadership team of the Dog Aging Project. "I'm the director of the environment core," Ruple said. "We look at all of the environmental factors, which we consider to be everything outside of the dogs. That includes diet and exercise, but also the built environment, chemical environment, natural environment, and drinking water." L’OREAL Intl Head of Scientific Valorisation, Skincare | PharmD | Executive MBA | ex. ZORBA, Boston Scientific, P&G | Science, Innovation, Tech, Creative content
"Apostate, radical, heretic. Call them what you want, but... what if they’re right? Meet the thought leaders featured in "Heretics", a brand new original series (one of the great original series crafted by the FreeThink e-mag) featuring the thought leaders who aren’t afraid to color outside the lines. You might not agree with them, but you can’t afford to ignore them. Because heretics have the power to change the world." Love that quote !! Did you know that the quest for longevity may not be restrained to us but extend beyond humans to animals? Celine Halioua, CEO and Founder of Loyal, is at the forefront. Loyal is developing the first FDA-approved drugs explicitly intended to extend lifespan and health span. On the path to FDA approval, Celine and her team started running clinical trials that objectively and robustly demonstrates that Loyal's drug extends dogs’ healthy lifespan, and does so safely. https://lnkd.in/eVj6dWMj #Heretics #Innovation #Longevity #Animals #Biotech #ThoughtLeaders

Projective: Project-Program Manager merging Consulting, Integration, Risk & Change Mgnt for maximum business case realization II PositionLT: Research & Advisory to position for the long-term (health, wealth, disruption)
Today's WeeklyLT expands on posts from the past two weeks by leveraging Jane Goodall’s life, legacy & research to remind us: “THERE IS NOT A MAJOR GAP BETWEEN US & ALL OTHER ANIMALS.” The prior two posts I’ve written have alluded to our IMPROPER USE OF TECHNOLOGY, ESPECIALLY OVER THE PAST 15 YEARS FOLLOWING THE LAUNCH OF MOBILE DEVICES & SOCIAL MEDIA. THIS MISUSE IS WIDENING THE GAP – FOR THE WORSE. OUR MOVEMENT, SOCIAL CONNECTIONS & OVERALL HEALTH & HAPPINESS ARE NOT TRENDING IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION. As a reminder for those unfamiliar, Jane Goodall (now 90) is a British primatologist, ethologist & anthropologist, renowned for her groundbreaking work in the study of chimpanzees. She has extensively researched & documented (written & video) the social & family interactions of wild chimpanzees throughout her lifetime & proved to us that: 1 – Chimpanzees make & use tools (ie, using of sticks to extract termites), a trait that society previously thought to be uniquely human. 2 – Chimpanzees are not strictly vegetarians; they hunt & eat meat, often engaging in cooperative hunting to catch prey such as monkeys. 3 – They have intricate social structures & relationships; Goodall observed behaviours including grooming, forming alliances & establishing hierarchies within their communities. 4 – They exhibit a range of emotions similar to humans, expressing joy, sorrow, anger & affection. 5 – They engage in play, form close bonds with family members & grieve the loss of loved ones. 6 – They can be aggressive & violent, engaging in conflict & wars between other groups, BUT they also show reconciliation behaviours such as kissing & embracing after conflicts. https://lnkd.in/gzeJTV_b I'm glad my kids got to learn about Jane Goodall & chimpanzees this week as part of their camp by watching a film about her. “CHIMPANZEES ARE LIKE US BIOLOGICALLY – OUR CLOSEST LIVING RELATIVES. WE HUMANS ARE A PART OF, AND NOT SEPARATED FROM THE REST OF THE ANIMAL KINGDOM” (Jane Goodall). PERHAPS WE NEED TO GO BACK TO OUR ROOTS. BACK TO OUR CORE. BACK TO WHERE WE CAME FROM? A little less use of technology, coupled with more movement, whole foods, social connections & time outdoors can go a long way in raising our overall health & happiness. That’s my plan for this beautiful Sunday. Pass it along. We owe this to ourselves, & most importantly, our children.
How Jane Goodall Changed the Relationship Between Humans and Animals

Come along? Learn to use and practice some great tools for Futures Thinking, so you can help others to imagine multiple futures.
Don't get defensive.* I have been a vegan for 10 years.** Would you be willing to listen to animals that are farmed for food? This is a question I was left pondering following our Signals from the Future virtual impact session with Melissa Clark-Reynolds ONZM, ChFInstD. This is a wee taste of the interesting and impactful provocations that Melissa's insights offer. If you are interested in our one-day Futures by Design workshop with Melissa, please check out the link in the comments below. *It is never a good idea to start any conversation by asking people to not behave in a certain way, particularly if you are then going to intentionally provoke them. 😬 **It is never a good idea to assume a position of moral superiority. 😬 #futuresthinking
