A private shopping event for their Fashion Club. I loved the variety of brands from Ganni, Loewe, Victoria Beckham, Simone Rocha. I found so many great pieces in store & stupidly didn’t buy the floral @dolcegabbana shirt I tried on. As I emerge from hibernation this is a reminder not just for you but for me also Style is… …having pride in yourself …knowing you are …being prepared for your life and dreams …understanding quality, cut and creativity …buying with intention …not defined by your age …for everyone …equal parts thought and action …being organised …knowing the rules and then sometimes or often (depending on you) breaking them …opening your full wardrobe up for consideration …often fixed by wearing head to toe one colour and adding jewellery …regularly about pairing opposites together …going to open up possibilits for you …going to remind you of who you are and what you are capable of …a way to connect and inspire others …getting dressed for you first then for others …a powerful way to heal and let go from the past …not just about having lots of money …a tool for living a confident and assured life …not frivolous Did I miss any?? Can I ask you? Every week I put together a newsletter that 50% of the total readership open week after week. They are obviously benefiting from what I'm doing but on the other side of this screen it can be lonley. Confident but not brash, assured but not brash and I think Jo sykes and the team Jigsaw have once again done a great job of bringing wearable, modern investment items to the high street.
