Meet Tyler Young, a finalist in last year’s Masters of the Craft competition, who works as a bartender at the Sheraton Denver Downtown Hotel. Tyler's interest in mixology began when he started serving drinks at private parties and saw how much pleasure it brought to his customers. According to Tyler, "The moment I saw the smile on someone's face after serving them their first cocktail, I was hooked." Since then, he has worked in both front and back-of-house positions to perfect his skills and explore new and unique flavors. Tyler's regional award-winning recipe, the "Tokyo Sour," is a delightful blend of plum whiskey, egg whites, lemon juice, simple syrup, yuzu, and ginger liqueurs.
