For a very long time, I was working in the travel tech industry, in companies like Gogobot (Gogobot was acquired by Skycanner), Skyscanner and Expedia. One day, at a famous conference, I heard a CEO being interviewed on stage. He spoke with so much confidence, explaining just how “tech-savvy and innovative” his company was. As it happens, I was in the middle of a sale to that company. I knew what was REALLY going on there. And I knew that the CEO was just full of BS. None of what he said was true. It was actually quite the opposite. That got me thinking - what about all the salespeople trying to sell to this company? If they only knew what I knew, they wouldn't waste their time. That thought didn’t let go. It actually expanded a much bigger notion -  What if I could bring this kind of information to salespeople about all companies? What if salespeople would go into a saleprocess knowing all they needed to know about champions, stakeholders, buying groups, length of sale cycle and how to work with legal? What If this information could be both validated and shared anonymously?
