nobody will remember: - the hours you logged - the emails you sent - the deadlines you chased people will remember: - the difference you made for blood cancer patients & families - the hope you brought to those in need - the dedication you showed to our mission
This is why I am a proud employee of LLS!
If you are living with blood cancer or bone marrow failure, and are a student or working professional, everyone NEEDS to remember and appreciate: -The extra hours you logged -The reviews, re-reviews, and edits to all the emails you sent -The deadlines you chased -and the medications, fatigue, rest, doctor appointments, therapy, ER visits, symptoms, and guilt potholes & obstacle courses you navigated If they see the above, people will remember: -The differences -The hope, but more importantly the will & drive -The reality and dedication to some version of "normal"
Proud of LLS and all they do. An amazing organization that changes lives. Also proud to be a longtime supporter. Keep doing all you do… until there’s a cure.
There is little more important than giving cancer patients and their supporters hope that a successful outcome is possible. Believe it.
👆THIS🙌is exactly why I am excited for the opportunity to be considered for the position of Coordinator of Grassroots & Operations at LLS. Submitted my application this morning!🤞 for a call back!!

2moThe thing is the balance between the two, which is heavily skewed for most scientists and clinicians. So please remember that behind every discovery, scientific report and clinical practice lie tons of unseen hours of work, emails, chased deadlines and numerous other efforts to try to make the difference and bring hope, but preferably solutions.
