Recent research shows that job candidates are dissatisfied with the hiring process. But, what is working? Using AI hiring tools. Employers with high recruitment ratings often leverage AI, which an expert says can help with basic screening, interview scheduling and answering questions. Availability – bots don't sleep – is key there. Candidates also showed a heavy reliance on value alignment with prospective employers, SHRM notes. They want to know what the company stands for, plus a realistic view of what a day at work looks like. 👉 What are your green flags in the hiring process? Regardless of the use of AI on a resume, hiring personnel should be focused on the person behind the resume. If you like someone's work history, and you want to know if they used AI to help generate their resume, call and ask them! A resume is just a document. A candidate is a human being with both real and emotional intelligence for you to learn about. #goodwinrecruiting #AI #jobseekers #hiringmanagers

Interesting article about AI and resume with insights from my colleague Allegra Highsmith (She/Her/Hers). I think by now most of us have figured that AI is simply a tool and nothing to fear or to rely upon. If you are using AI to enhance your resume make sure that you add your voice to the editing and that all the information is factual. At the end of the day, your resume is the very first thing people see about you and you want to make sure it represents who you are.

The UK's Big Four firms have said to have taken a significant stance on AI in recruitment, opting to scale down its use to ensure fairness and integrity in the hiring process. This move highlights a crucial reminder of the irreplaceable value of human judgement in recruitment, a principle that Barrow and Parker HR Consultancy has always championed. Our dedication to human-led recruitment is not just about preference; it's about providing tangible benefits to both candidates and employers. By prioritising human insight, we offer a more nuanced understanding of each candidate's unique strengths and potential for growth, far beyond what algorithms can decipher. This approach ensures a deeper compatibility between candidates and organisations, leading to placements that excel in skill alignment as well as in cultural fit and long-term success. As the world continues to evolve, trust Barrow & Parker to stay at the forefront of recruitment excellence. We blend the best of technology with the unmatched value of human insights to forge meaningful and successful employment connections. #HumanTouchInRecruitment #RecruitmentServices #AIandRecruitment #BigFour
