The Littleton Police Department is proud to announce the installation of a memorial bench in front of the police station in honor of the late Chief Matthew King, who passed away on July 3, 2023. The bench stands as a permanent tribute to Chief King’s 36 years of dedicated service to the Littleton community. Chief King was hired in 1982 as a patrolman and held many other ranks, including Sergeant and Lieutenant. He eventually served as Chief from 2014 to 2018. As a Chief of Police, he was known for his steadfast commitment to public safety, his deep compassion for the residents of Littleton, and his leadership in advancing the department’s role in the community. His loss has been deeply felt by all who knew him, both within the department and across the town he devoted his life to protecting. This memorial bench is located outside the Littleton Police Station, is accessible to the public, and provides a space for reflection and remembrance. This unique monument bench is just one of many ways his legacy will continue to live on.#RememberingChiefKing Littleton Community Television

Obviously as is absolutely the case with regards to every discipline and profession, there are, of course "bad/ corrupted criminals-in-disguise", effectively. That must be rooted out. However, if you are going to let an exceptionally tiny minority of such sorry excuses-for people justify your not actively supporting the #thinblueline, then you are absolutely one of the also exceptionally tiny but - generally - obnoxiously-loud minority, who are a giant part of the problem. That is, the problem of the very deliberate dividing of this nation, the epidemic of crime in far too many formerly safe cities and towns and generally, the continuing breakdown of law and order, the Rule of Law and the emerging reign of an increasingly-obvious also very deliberate, Two-Tiered so-called "Justice" system. +++ But that's just what I think might be happening and might be some of the causes. What do you all think? #surveysays
A sea of blue enveloped Merrick Road outside of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church this morning. Police Officers joined us from across the globe to honor our hero, Detective First Grade Jonathan Diller- standing shoulder to shoulder with us, and comforting his extraordinary family. The patches on the officers’ shoulders may be different, but we are forever bound by our solemn oaths to serve and protect our communities. The same principles Jonathan Diller lived by: To make our world a better, safer place for all. #FidelisAdMortem

Last week, footage was released of the final moments of U.S. Air Force Senior Airman Roger Fortson’s life. Once again, we see the crushing violence of this racialized society and the horrific injustice of police brutality. We lament. We acknowledge the trauma, PTSD, anguish, fear, and anger this story can bring up. So first, we want to ensure our BIPOC community is taken care of, heard, and seen. And then, all together, we lament. We find ourselves looking directly at injustice and its violence, and we lament. We lament a life taken. We lament a Black man’s life taken. We lament a young Black man’s life taken. As bridge builders, we don’t stop at lament. We take our lament and foster transformation. We have to cultivate a holy imagination and actively work towards creating equitable systems. We have to be willing to ask ourselves and decision makers tough questions. What responsibilities lie with us? What can we do to make sure people are safe in their own homes? How can we create systems where everyone is treated fairly? How can we ensure lethal force is the absolute last resort? How can we better value life? What do we need to do for there to be liberty and justice for all? We lament. And then we move onward to leverage, leveraging our positions and resources for healing and restoration. Be color brave instead of colorblind. Ask questions. Be willing to investigate the history of policing in the U.S. and in your state. Accept historical truths and present realities. Engage in your community by voting, initiating community policing efforts, and looking at your city’s resources and budgets and what might be reallocated. Attend community meetings where discussions can happen and lead to change. Support mental health initiatives for your community and for law enforcement officers. Listen to the experiences of families who have endured police brutality. Speak up when police brutality occurs. Be dedicated to figuring out a different way of policing within your local context. Look at what other cities have done that have yielded positive results. Give yourself space to weep and mourn. It doesn’t have to be this way. Say Roger Fortson’s name. Hold his family and friends in prayer. And know that transformation begins with you. #bethebridge #lament #rogerfortson

Interesting event. It is commendable that reform is prioritized alongside the restoration of public trust and the transformation of policing culture. Strong leadership integrity is crucial for improving the relationship between law enforcement and the communities they serve. Addressing current challenges requires innovative approaches to crime prevention, particularly through community engagement and technology. These efforts should consistently focus on community participation, accountability, and transparency. By fostering collaboration and adapting to the evolving needs of society, the police can position themselves as trustworthy partners in maintaining public safety. The future of policing will hinge on these three foundational pillars: integrity, innovation, and collective responsibility. Boosting the number of police officers in line with the police-to-public ratio is essential to alleviate fatigue and reduce the pressure on current officers. Other pressing concerns include addressing knife and hate crimes, as well as fostering healthy relationships among individuals from various communities and ethnicities.
At the John Harris Memorial Lecture, I reflected on our ongoing mission to rebuild public trust, transform policing culture, and drive forward reform. We must lead with integrity, innovate in tackling crime, and be accountable to the communities we serve. Together, we can reshape the future of policing. https://lnkd.in/eAPZkehb

*Birds of a Feather Flock Together* The LAPD Black cops around me are onboard with a program that is being used to destroy people of all races with it first stop the Black Community. Yes, this technology, and official personnel at the helm can motivate, Black on Black crime while sitting in state-of-the-art operation centers using mind invasive, and patented subliminal influence technologies. And, the technology is so advanced that the target will think that a beamed negative thought is their own combined with beamed frequency mood manipulation. I've come to far to turn back now. And, I refuse to sit quietly while being tortured, and degraded both inside and outside my home. I have no doubt, based on continuous death threats from the setup around me, and it proven, time and time again, that this program can easily destroy anyone, anywhere through these advancement in this massive global system. No one of the face of the Earth is exempt from vicious high-tech human experimentation and many report entire familites targeted and destroyed as well. Key is that the leadership believe it can't be proven. As military personnel, teamed with the Lockheed Martin, DOD Contractor, continue death threats on a daily basis, with focus on my family and death of a child. Others have reported this as well and frankly,I put nothing past them. The hope is that harming family will destroy the target, as they test the limits of the technology in their hideous hands. They want to win at all cost and are not setup around target's them deem a threat, who is using the truth to expose this program and death of a loved one is a win, win for these officiated sociopaths. The Black cops, nor low level military personnel do not get away with high-tech murder unless it is approved by their Handlers at a higher level https://lnkd.in/dFckpd7F The plot thickens... Frankly, they ALL are cowards hiding behind this technology and destroying untold numbers of lives, who do not want it known or publicized. What a national, horrific disgrace!
