After receiving suggestions from staff, Marks and Spencer have introduced a new range of braille cards in partnership with RNIB. There are three things I find particularly interesting about this story: 1) It shows the importance of listening to employees through #internalcommunications. This was one of 10,000 ideas submitted to CEO Stuart Machin in the past year. Imagine how many other ideas they now have that could help progress the business. 2) A birthday card is a simple but meaningful way to be a more inclusive and accessible brand. But most shocking of all is 3) This is the industry's first Braille gift card. Yes, the first. Surely this is the start of that changing. #customerexperience #retail #inclusion #internalcomms
