True allyship in the workplace is more than just celebrating Pride — it’s about creating a space where LGBTQ+ employees can fully express their identity without the need to code-switch or hide parts of themselves. Actively participating in allyship not only supports LGBTQ+ employees, but also enriches workplace culture, fostering a sense of belonging and authenticity for all. 🏳️🌈 Discover more ways to be an ally with LinkedIn x Impact Media's 2024 "Out @ Work Guide": https://lnkd.in/g9Mhkdyc #Pride

We are thrilled to have collaborated with LinkedIn on bringing this LGBTQ+ Work Guide to life. We hope this is used by companies to better assess how they can provide safer workplace environments to their queer employees. As a media outlet with a majority LGBTQ+ staff, it's been essential that we acknowledge the importance of providing a welcoming workplace culture where queer employees can fully express their identity at all times. No one should have to hide parts of themselves at work, and employees should always be praised for being their true and authentic selves.  Happy #Pride!

As a nonbinary CEO, it's always been of the upmost importance to provide a safe workplace culture to all LGBTQ+ employees at my company. Working in collaboration with LinkedIn on this LGBTQ+ Work Guide allowed me to relive the experiences I've had as a queer entrepreneur. The corporate world largely rewards masculinity and normativity, but being queer is all about breaking out of these hierarchies and conventions. I'm so grateful that my team and I had the opportunity to work on this incredible initiative, and I'm hopeful that companies will take note of this guide in an effort to make their workplace more inclusive and welcoming to all.

What about advocating for a ceasefire in Gaza in response to what is considered one of the largest genocides of the 21st century? What about the thousands of children, women, and men who have been murdered, raped, tortured, and bombarded by Israel? I believe the world should focus more on the issues that truly matter. #freepalestine 🇵🇸 #stopthegenocide

We need to love everyone for exactly who they are, including ourselves. ❤️

I don’t care when someone expresses their identity, although understand that our personal views may be different

I completely agree! Celebrating Pride is just the starting point. True allyship means fostering an environment where LGBTQ+ employees can be their true selves every day, without fear of judgment or the need to hide any part of their identity. When we actively support our colleagues, we create a workplace culture that's not only more inclusive but also more vibrant and innovative. Personally, I've seen the positive impact when everyone feels they belong and can be authentic. LinkedIn
