Today, we bid farewell to our CEO, Christofer von Nagel, has left an indelible mark on both our company and our hearts. We are honored to gain insights into his remarkable 33-year journey with the company and 8.5-year in RNA, which stands as a testament to his unwavering commitment and success. A humanized leader is one who can relate, empathize, and maintain an approachable demeanor, valuing open communication and the well-being of their team. But what truly sets him apart is his wisdom of "Stay human, stay humble." In the ever-evolving business landscape of today, effective leadership is the cornerstone of success. When I reflect on my interactions with executives across various industries, I've often observed leadership transitions characterized by formality. However, today was an exception. I had the privilege of witnessing a farewell celebration with our CEO that was truly inspiring. Let us always bear in mind the profound influence of authentic leadership. You find out a lot about a business by the way they treat their staff on the way out. I spoke to a client who reflected on her exit from an employer she had given years of loyal service to. The message was clear: You won't find a better place to work for. Don't expect to be welcomed back when you leave. Fair to say this CFO never did return, though she did have a return stint with another, more values-led organisation. Her leadership style and behaviours are modelled on the latter.
