Where does bike mechanics end - and engineering begin? From our recent trip to Eurobike it was clear that technology is in some ways, outpacing mechanics' training with very little discussion about service, training or improving knowledge at the mechanic / customer interface. With more and more proprietary tech coming through, Is the industry doing enough for bike shops and mechanics?

Thrilled to Have Participated in the SAE Southern Section Bicycle Design Challenge Workshop! 🚴♀ Just wrapped up an intensive 2-day offline workshop at KSR College, Tiruchengode, as part of the SAE Southern Section bicycle design challenge Team - CIET ENDEAVOURS . This experience was incredibly rewarding, providing me with deep insights into several critical areas: 🔧 NX Software: Mastered advanced design techniques using NX software. 🔩 Materials: Gained a comprehensive understanding of material properties and their applications in bicycle design. 📐 Design Parameters: Learned to optimize bicycle performance through critical design parameters. 🏭 Manufacturing Processes: Explored the complete manufacturing cycle of bicycles. 📜 Regulatory Standards: Familiarized myself with the essential rules and standards governing bicycle design. A heartfelt thanks to all the mentors and organizers who made this learning experience possible.
