Thank you so much for having us and happy pride! 😍🤩🥳🏳️🌈

🌈 Israel: a place for pride, a place for hope 🌈 At Checkmarx we prioritize creating a work environment that promotes diversity and inclusion. We strive to provide a safe space for diverse teams, ensuring all ends of the population are represented. This year, amidst the shadow of the October 7th war, we reflected on how best to celebrate Pride Month in Israel, which globally falls in June. According to our Pride committee, we decided to tie together this year's significant events with the challenges faced by the LGBTQ community. Yesterday, we had the honor of hosting Avi Buskila for a fascinating lecture on pride and hope. During the Second Lebanon War, Avi served in a combat role. With the Iron Swords War outbreak, he was drafted into reserve service. We listened intently as he shared his experiences of life in the closet as a combat commander in the army, the challenges of coming out, and the ongoing struggles the LGBTQ community faces in Israeli society today. A heartfelt thank you to the LGBTech association for connecting us with Avi. We also extend our gratitude for the chocolate wall made entirely of white chocolate tiles that served as our setting this year. It was a bittersweet reminder of what truly matters and the broader context we must never forget 🎗️ Life at Checkmarx, Oshrit Biron Peer
