𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗔𝗢𝗔𝗖 𝗔𝗻𝗻𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 & 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 is where the global analytical science community comes together to learn latest advances in food safety science to meet current and emerging needs. Food testing for nutrients, heavy metals, and fats involves a series of steps that are often not fully optimized even in modern labs. Particularly during the sample preparation phase, these steps can be time-consuming, pose safety concerns for operators, limit productivity, and directly impact analysis costs. We will present how the 𝐓𝐨𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐒𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐩 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐟𝐥𝐨𝐰 𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐚𝐜𝐡 addresses these challenges in both elemental analysis and fat determinations. https://hubs.la/Q02Hcrqb0

How to research our food environment? Alexandra Czeglédi and Vanda Pózner's blog post on our website gives a summary of the Plan'Eat Project workshop the organised at last year's STS Conference. Please read the report here: https://lnkd.in/dEgpMEvY
I'm happy to share our blog post that Vanda Pózner (ESSRG) and I wrote about the STS Conference Graz 2023 and our Plan'Eat workshop we co-organised with Ewa Kopczyńska (Jagiellonian University). We co-authored and published the longer version of the workshop session in The Conference Proceedings of the STS Conference Graz 2023: Critical Issues in Science, Technology and Society Studies: https://lnkd.in/dNryXquu Alexandra Czeglédi, Ewa Kopczynska, Taru Peltola, Tuija Seppälä, Vanda Pózner, Diana Szakál, David Steinwender, Sandra Karner, Minna Kaljonen, Iikka Oinonen, Maya Hey (2023): From the edge to the core: Participatory food environment research in European cities DOI 10.3217/978-3-85125-976-6-27
