Client Projects come in all shapes and sizes...but they all play an important part in the TT1st, Specialist Rehabilitation Occupational Therapy model. 🌟 With over 97% of TT1st Clients successfully completing their therapy goals, we know our approach to OT works. ✅ Recently, one of our SROTs asked their Client if it would be OK to share some pictures and narrative around one of the Clients' projects, they were working on. I thought it would be nice to share the images and a brief simplistic reasoning around how this particular project helped this particular client. 📸💡 After all, Occupational Therapy is not a one-size-fits-all prescription, and each Client warrants and deserves a unique approach tailored to their needs. That's why TT1st always carry out an initial Rehabilitation Needs Assessment (RNA), which is completed by an experienced and qualified OT with more than 5 years of experience as well as extensive knowledge and hands-on experience of the TT1st way. 👩⚕️📋 Lives Rebuilt. April is Occupational Therapy month. Let's use this month to get the word out as to what you amazing clinicians do! For one because people need to realize your value in their recovery! But selfishly it would also save me 2 minutes with every evaluation explaining what it is you do and what the differences are...😉 (don't worry I talk you up big time). In all seriousness thank you for what you do. One of the best parts of working in a snf is being able to collaborate with you all. Shout out to Melinda Hensler, MS, OTR/L for being the best OT partner a guy could ask for over the last too many years to count! #occupationaltherapy #otmonth #physicaltherapy #givingthanks

Therapists at ATS often work together for optimal patient outcomes! Combining occupational therapy and speech therapy for self-feeding and swallowing can be highly effective. Occupational therapy focuses on physical abilities and motor skills needed for feeding, while speech therapy addresses swallowing difficulties and oral motor control. Together, they can enhance independence and safety in these crucial activities. #ahatherapy #TherapyRevolution #AOTA #asha
