Kelsey Brantley LEAD '23 and Anthony Rodriguez '22 were matched two years ago, and they still get lunch together throughout the year. The LEAD Mentor Program offers current LEAD Atlanta class members the opportunity to connect with and learn from Leadership Atlanta alumni throughout their program year. We are deeply appreciative of the alumni who volunteer to serve, as their mentorship can have a lasting impact that extends beyond the program year. Our strategic priorities of developing the leadership capabilities of students in Irish Higher Education, and strengthening the value of student engagement at the national level in action!
I was delighted to be asked as part of my role in National Student Engagement Programme (NStEP), to deliver a workshop for the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI)'s Student Leadership Development Programme. I love delivering training to students, and we had an engaging session discussing unconscious bias, addressing microaggressions, intersectionality, and universal design for learning through the lens of student engagement! Many years ago, I experienced the transformative journey of the TMDC, gaining valuable insights into leadership development as a participant. My coach, Ellen Davis, inspired and taught me immensely, sparking my interest in becoming a coach myself. This week, I had the privilege of contributing as a coach for Leader's Imago at a TMDC.
