Have you registered for one or both of these FREE Q is for Questioning workshops yet? 👀 These sessions provide foundational knowledge and support for trusted adults with LGBTQ+ loved ones close to them. By signing up, you’ll have the opportunity to be in discussion with a licensed clinical health care professional, a facilitator with lived experience (either as a member of the LGBTQ+ community or a parent of a LGBTQ+ individual) and a member of the Envision:You team. Together we’ll be able to work through internal biases, the best way to affirm your LGBTQ+ youth and become comfortable utilizing LGBTQ+ terms in a non-judgemental and open environment. You’ll find camaraderie and acceptance in the other trusted adults in the sessions as well! As one of our lovely participants stated: “The honesty and personal stories were so impactful. 🌈 Day of Silence 🌈   Today, I stand in solidarity with the LGBTQ+ community on the Day of Silence. It’s a momentous occasion to Rise Up and Take Action against the bullying and discrimination faced by individuals based on who they are or who they love, including the reprehensible act of bullying children by adults.   This day holds profound personal significance for me. I have witnessed firsthand the challenges and pain that my family members faced due to bullying and prejudice, often exacerbated by adults who should have been their protectors. Seeing their resilience in the face of such adversity has fueled my passion for advocating for equality and inclusion.   The Day of Silence empowers us to reflect on the impact of silence in the face of injustice. It’s a call to action to break the silence, speak up, and create a world where everyone can live authentically without fear of discrimination or harm, especially our most vulnerable – our children.   Let’s use this day as a catalyst for change.
