Laureled Japan Heritage Jeans represent a prestigious category of Japanese denim, celebrated globally for their exceptional craftsmanship, high-quality materials, and deep cultural significance. These jeans are often made from selvedge denim, woven on traditional shuttle looms that produce a tightly woven edge, preventing fraying. The fabric is typically dyed using natural indigo, resulting in a deep, rich color that fades beautifully over time, creating a unique patina personal to the wearer. The term "laureled" indicates recognition and praise, often tied to the jeans' adherence to traditional methods and their place within Japan's rich textile history. The jeans embody the Japanese values of meticulous craftsmanship (known as "takumi") and respect for heritage, blending modern fashion with time-honored techniques. As such, they are highly sought after by denim enthusiasts and collectors who value authenticity, durability, and the story behind each pair. #fashion #indigo #denim #japanmade #germanyfashioncouncil

#TransformWithShraddha This post takes me back to Revolutionary Runway 2023 at Malaysia as a part of Sustainable Stylecon organized by SIBS, Sunway University. I walked the ramp as Show Stopper, representating sustainable Indian fashion at this global platform. I call it my "passion for fashion". I am passionate about fashion and style because I can be who I want to be through my appearance. I can express my individuality through following my style and not copying anyone else's. Personally, I believe that it's important to express yourself with your style than just following the trends and get on the bandwagon. As stated by John Fairchild “‘Style’ is an expression of individualism mixed with charisma. Fashion is something that comes after style”. The best thing about personal style is that it reveals the prominent qualities that make you look and feel the best inside and out. Having your own bold, creative style can give you the confidence to get through every day. You feel good when you look good. Do you agree? What's your style statement?
