There’s a social movement underway… at the local, state and national level. I’ve been struggling to put words to it because I can’t even fully express what it means to me personally. To say that it’s about women supporting women and collaboration versus competition doesn’t even scratch the surface. Sometimes it’s easier to say what it isn’t. It’s not about promoting stereotypes of women burning bras (although that does sound like a great idea) or women saying how much they hate men or working women looking down on stay at home moms. Righteous anger is not part of the conversation these days. Instead, we talk about things with an open mind and open heart. And that makes all the difference! I had a meeting the other day with a woman who said she came to a women in business event because it was something she was “hungry” for and an opportunity for meaningful connections. We had a great conversation that was stimulating and inspiring — nourishing on an intellectual and emotional level. It made me think of a tagline: Connecting. Inspiring. Succeeding. Yes! Exactly. (This is a picture of me at a community event last year and an example of all the great women I’ve had an opportunity to meet. ) Sadly, I wasn’t having a great hair day but Katie Tollick was kind enough not to say anything:-) It is not surprising to me that women-centric events are sweeping the nation and often sold out. It fulfills so many of our needs. I wish I could mention ALL the women who are part of my personal and professional network. I can honestly say that these women have made all the difference, and I look forward to meeting more amazing women in the future! We are looking to engage with impactful and empowering women for the purpose of featuring them on a monthly basis and highlight their achievements and contributions to empowering others! 🔎 Who we are looking for - We are looking for women who empower others and who have made a significant impact in their field.  - They don't have to be well-known or a celebrity (although, if you are one or know one we'd love to feature some big names too!) - They can be founders, researchers, teachers, politicians or anything really!
