I love this from Bryce Dallas Howard. “Post with purpose”. It’s so easy to fall into the algorithmic trap where we feel we have to get on what often feels like a runaway train in order to gain traction in business and branding. I’ve done it. I’ve felt it. But what I notice for me is when I post with the purpose of simply wanting to add value to anyone who reads what I write, rather than getting attention, the less it feels like work and the better I feel about doing it. I may not post every day. My posts may get lost in the digital maze. But if by chance someone reads something I’ve written and it makes them a) think about something differently and b) feel great, then I will have done my job of communicating a desire to have conversations that are deeper, more meaningful, and ultimately, impactful. #lifecoach #makinganimpact #conversationsthatmatter #postwithpurpose #noisecontrol

Social media has become essential to our lives in the modern world. We share our daily experiences, triumphs, setbacks, and meaningful life events with our friends and followers. It's important to realise that not every moment needs to be posted on social media. Sometimes, hiding successes, setbacks, or significant life events benefits our mental health. Realising that we should feel free to share everything with the internet community is crucial. We are entitled to appreciate some things in secret and to keep them to ourselves. Therefore, avoiding social media and preserving our essential moments for ourselves is okay.
