😎 Moving from the #UK to #Australia can be an easy process if you qualify for the #WorkingHolidayVisa 417! The UK and Australia signed a comprehensive trade deal in December 2021. New passport procedures will be available to UK nationals wanting to move to Australia in the next two years (date to be agreed on by the Australian and British governments). Currently, British citizens can apply for a Working Holiday (subclass 417) visa from the age of 18 to 30. From the moment the new agreement takes effect, the upper limit will increase to 35 years. As a result, UK passport holders will be able to apply for a Working Holiday (subclass 417) visa up until the day before their 36th birthday. When the new arrangements commence, it will also be easier to apply for a second or third Working Holiday visa (granting a two or three-year stay in Australia, respectively), without carrying out ‘specified work’ (usually agricultural work in remote areas). The 417 visa allows you to travel freely around Australia with no re-entry permit required! You can work full-time in any profession too. Over the last ten years, ConsultANZ has helped many #CivilEngineers and #Surveyors on a 417 Visa find relevant employment in Australia. If you would like to know more about employment options for 417 visa holders, get in touch with our Recruiters on LinkedIn or send your CV to [email protected] #civilengineers #surveyors #surveyjobs #engineeringjobs #london #workandholidays #settingout #HS2

📝Employer-sponsored visas present a strategic advantage for both Australian businesses and overseas workers, empowering a global pool of skilled talent and allowing the country to address critical skill shortages. 1. Temporary Skill Shortage (TSS) Visa (Subclass 482): Provides temporary work authorization for specific occupations (1-4 years). 2. Employer Nomination Scheme (ENS) Visa (Subclass 186): Offers a direct path to permanent residency, with ongoing employer sponsorship. 3. Skilled Employer-Sponsored Regional (Provisional) Visa (Subclass 494): Connects skilled workers with regional employers and leads to permanent residency after 3 years (5-year visa). 👉Learn more about Australia's employer-sponsored visa in our comprehensive article here: https://hubs.ly/Q02sw4nj0

Your 30’s mark a crucial career milestone for many professionals. At a point where chances are taken and big leaps are made – why not expand your horizon? For Australian and British citizens, the age limit for working holiday visas between the two countries is extending to 35 (you can apply until the day before your 36th birthday). What does this all mean? 👉 For Australian passport holders, your departure is from 31 January 2024, when you can apply for a Youth Mobility Scheme visa between the ages of 18 and 35 years inclusive. You can extend your visa for a third year if you choose. 👉 For UK passport holders, this took effect 1st July 2023, where you can apply for a Working Holiday visa between the ages of 18 and 35 years inclusive. Then from 1 July 2024, you will be eligible to be granted Working Holiday visas up to a total of three years without having to meet any specified work requirements. So, if you previously thought it was ‘too late’ to make the move – your time is now. Need help navigating your next steps?
