Glamping is on the rise, but getting guests to embrace the experience isn’t always easy. The popularity of Glamping is continuing to grow, even as the RV space is slowing. But what makes a typical Airbnb or hotel guest decide to go Glamping? Many people have concerns about whether the advertised amenities will live up to reality. Do I have my own restroom or is it shared? How big is the glamping unit? How much privacy will we actually have? Where will the kids sleep? While photos can help address these concerns, today's guests are savvy—they know pictures can be deceiving. This is where virtual tours come in. They provide potential guests with a real sense of the space, allowing them to explore the layout, see the amenities, and gauge the level of privacy—before they book. With virtual tours, guests can see firsthand how the units are situated, ensuring they feel confident and comfortable with their choice. Guests will know what's included in the unit and what they need to bring. Your challenge? Convincing guests to step out of the comfort of what they already know—like a hotel room with a private bathroom. The transparency virtual tours offer can make a significant difference in converting hesitant guests, helping them move beyond the comforts they know in hotels and house rentals, and embrace the unique experience of Glamping. Let’s ensure your guests feel confident about booking their glamping stay. A virtual tour bridges the gap between curiosity and commitment, showing them exactly what to expect—and getting them excited to experience it for themselves. CampSite 360 | Elevate your campground | Make more money & Increase your bookings with captivating visuals & virtual tours
What separates a Campground from an RV Park or RV Resort? Honestly I have no idea... Names can be deceiving. A “Resort” with limited amenities, a “Campground” that feels like luxury. Confusing? Absolutely. It's like expecting a luxury hotel and arriving at a budget motel. But for campers, it's a familiar scenario. Here's where virtual tours make a real difference. Forget misleading names. Virtual tours reveal your park’s – amenities, campsite sizes, and unique atmosphere. Let guests see, not guess. A virtual tour turns your website into an open book. And an open book builds trust and excitement. Don’t just tell them what you are. Show them. And watch as the right guests flock to your campground, RV park, or RV Resort.

Creator of Pricing Overhaul®️ | Majority Partner of Pricing Overhaul® Academy | Best Selling Author | CEO of Luxury in Business Retreats®️
Pricing your retreats! A pretty tricky task for most people, how do you price so you actually get paid what you actually deserve to get paid? Without pricing ‘too high’. The way that you price private rooms compared to how to price shared rooms. when I see that retreat hosts are selling a private room for $10,000 and a shared room for half… so they are taking the price of the room and dividing it by 2, or 3 and determining the price. This is understandable from a practical matter, but It places too much weight and value on the room itself, its saying that the accommodation and the rooms are more valuable than the actual retreat experience.

Helping founders in experiential hospitality worldwide to secure investor interest and position them for launch or expansion | Brand | Investor Presentation | Resort Touchpoints | Consulting
Today I wanted to highlight a brand doing something unique in the accommodations space and this certainly meets that criteria. D F L O A T A new coastal stay is being considered that makes use of otherwise-derelict structures from the shipping industry. The initial concept is a coastal resort that situates new luxury cabins onto a partially sunken vessel. Off-kilter communal spaces combine the ambience of a chill-out bar with that of a sinking ship. It features original super-structure, handrails and walkways that act like an adult play-gym with rusted metal edges. Visitors can contemplate life from a unique perspective or go for a scramble about the space before retiring to their (level) cabin that overlooks the bay, though guests are advised to not drink too much at the bar before attempting to do so. Guests can float quietly both in the open sea or within the ship itself. For the more adventurous there is the option of jumping over the side. The overall intention, say the founders, is to allow visitors to become more one with the sea. What better way to enter the sea’s embrace than from a ship partially submerged in it. Leaving the original condition of the vehicle is intentional as it gives the resort that old-world flavour. Putting the rust into rustic allows guests to experience the sea’s effects wherever they are. A sort of rust-chic, if you will. The concept for this stay is being floated with investors and stakeholders. #upcycled #resort #coastalstays #luxurystays #nothingtodowithaprilfoolsday #promise
