WORLD INSTITUTE FOR PEACE PUBLISHED A BOOK TO PUT AN END TO BANDITRY ! Summary from the suggested solutions; To effectively combat banditry, bold and decisive measures need to be implemented. Firstly, increasing the presence of law enforcement agencies in areas prone to banditry is crucial. This can be achieved by deploying additional police forces and establishing more police stations in these regions. Secondly, intelligence gathering and sharing should be enhanced to identify and track down bandit groups. This can be achieved through the establishment of a dedicated intelligence unit that focuses solely on gathering information related to banditry activities. Additionally, community engagement and empowerment should be prioritized to build trust and cooperation between the local population and law enforcement agencies. This can be accomplished through community-based initiatives, such as neighborhood watch programs, that encourage citizens to actively participate in the fight against banditry. By implementing these bold solutions, we can effectively curb the menace of banditry and ensure the safety and security of our communities.
