Our latest research showcases a chiral pentanidium pyridinyl-sulphonamide ion pair, acting as a nucleophilic organocatalyst that brings precision to asymmetric Steglich rearrangement. By simply swapping out the achiral counterions, we've achieved up to 99% enantiomeric excess (ee) in our products.
