At JAM our vision is big – 1 million people playing annually.  We have a long way to go before we get there, so three times a year we gather as a team for what we call "Season Finals". Like most professional sports teams that analyze their game footage, we gather our JAM team to look back on all the great work we accomplished and we assess some mistakes made, so we can both celebrate and learn as a team. We then discuss our plans for projects we want to implement over the coming four months, as we continue to chase our vision and which teams and team leaders will be accountable for these. Lastly and arguably most importantly, we take time to play and have some laughs together. Season Finals is an in-person gathering for those who live close enough to our Toronto head office to drive in and virtual for those who live further away, and we always strive to find ways to ensure everyone feels included in the learning, the celebrating and the playful fun. It's also always a great excuse for a team photo! Teamwork makes the dream work. How often does your team meet to reflect on great work being done, learn from your mistakes and share plans for future growth...and is it all work or are you finding ways to play a bit too? #chasethevision #teamworkmakesthedreamwork #getshitdone #1millionpeopleplaying #workplaceculture #planyourworkworkyourplan

So cool. I love how you integrate play into the Rock planning meetings! We get together once a year as a team, we call it Signature Day! And the first thing we always do is something fun/competitive. It's a great way for people to connect before we get into the strategy sessions/deep planning work! Inspired by you all doing it 3x a year! 👏

I meet with my team once a month, but we don't set aside time for play. I am going to bring some playtime into our next meeting. 😁
