As I am continuing my new role within Quality, I wanted to reach out to the LinkedIn Community. I have worked in Controlling for 10 years, and I am very familiar with good KPI measurement, and what we use within Controlling for Sales and Manufacturing to help steer both of those portions. Now that I am in Quality I am in charge of measuring KPIs for the Quality teams. My question is what are good Key Performance Indicators for the Quality department. I know there are things such as First Pass Yield, Warranty Measures and the like, but in my mind this doesn't actually measure the effectiveness of the Quality department, because at the end of the day, we don't own the processes that we are monitoring. What are the KPIs that you use within your company for quality, and then why are you using them? #quality
