Sekoya Fruit has developed the LIVIE Blueberry Dispenser. This is part of the company’s strategy to reduce single-use plastic usage. It can hold up to three kilograms of blueberries, with an optional refrigerated base allowing for an additional 12 kilograms of storage. As I've been helping out for the past two days, I've come to realize that the key to a successful shift towards reusables lies in changing our behaviour, rather than relying on technology alone to drive a reuse solution. While many agree that it's a good idea to avoid chopping down trees to make billions of coffee cups each year, some still opt for the easier option of single-use when faced with the need to take the cup to a reuse deposit station.
