"Unlike sports advertising – where brands can tap into the deep emotional connections fans have with their favorite teams – health advertising can be perceived as disruptions and needs to work harder to create brand loyalty. That’s where the power of great storytelling comes in, allowing us to build emotional connections with audiences and create work that doesn’t feel like an interruption." Amy Fortunato, Vice President, Group Creative Director at Klick, joined other industry experts for a special report from Lürzer's Archive, where they mixed two of the fast-growth areas of advertising creativity together, Sports and Health: https://bit.ly/4e9iyHI

Need an afternoon listen? Tune into this conversation with Klick's own Yan Fossat!
UNC CS '28 | Morehead-Cain Scholar | Emergent Ventures '23 | Building culturafarms.ca | Co-Host of Collimator
I just finished Andy Weir's Project Hail Mary, recommended to me by a video game artist I met at the Minneapolis airport. One striking idea was that of the medical robot, designed to take care of humans in their comas as they voyaged through space. That got me thinking: 'What does the future of health look like?' In our latest Collimator conversation, Unmol Sharma and I sit down with Yan Fossat, who leads Digital Health Research and Development at Klick. Their projects are inspiring, from detecting increased risk of diabetes from a small sample of your voice to monitoring overdoses with a radar. Yan's team is full of scientists, engineers and mathematicians, working together to solve the most pressing medical issues of our time. Our conversation ranges from the earliest days of medical imaging all the way to current advances that have the potential to completely disrupt the process of medical screening and diagnosis, Yan's experience of growing his startup, and many of the lessons he's learned along the way. Lürzer's Archive asked recent contributors, including Andrea B., Vice President / Group Creative Director at Klick, what would they like to put in an ad that never usually gets seen? "A diverse population of powerful women showcasing the strength in their bodies and in their sexuality. In all phases of life. You know all the content that continues to get censored for being ‘inappropriate’? Let’s celebrate the power of femininity, instead of being afraid of it."
