The WSJ/College Pulse rankings are based on student outcomes, the learning environment, and diversity of the students and faculty. Student outcomes, which account for 70 percent of a College’s overall score, include graduation rates, salaries of graduates, and how well salaries offset the cost of attendance.
Lake Forest College is the highest-ranked liberal-arts college in the Midwest in the WSJ/College Pulse ranking, followed by Albion and DePauw.
