Your best people are leaving because you suck at showing appreciation. The key is to identify who your best employees are… …then double down on rewarding them. Why? Per Gallup, rewarding your best people has a huge impact on organization growth. In fact, employees who feel valued are 20x's as more likely to be aligned with company goals compared to employees who don’t feel valued. Rewarding the right behavior will have a positive impact on company culture as well.   In this Fuel Your Growth infographic we dive into 11 positive workplace animals and how each can be identified for their positive traits... ...so you can teach your people to emulate their behaviors! Behaviors such as: 1. Dog (The Loyal Teammate) 2. Chimp (Leads by Example) 3. Dolphin (The Communicator) 4. Sloth (The Patient Listener) 5. Bee (High Work Ethic) 6. Kangaroo (Agile Adapter) 7. Butterfly (Change Agent) 8. Tiger (Strategic Thinker) 9. Penguin (Cooperative Partner) 10. Bull (Over Achiever) 11. Giraffe (The Visionary)   ♻️ If you enjoyed this, repost it to help your network.   Follow me, Kevin Box🚀for more posts like this.   #fuelyourgrowth

Spot on! Recognizing and rewarding your top performers is crucial for retention and growth. Taking the time to appreciate their efforts not only boosts morale but also aligns everyone with company goals. I've found that celebrating their unique strengths, whether they're like the loyal Dog or the strategic Tiger, fosters a culture where excellence thrives. It's about nurturing those positive workplace 'animals' and inspiring others to follow suit.

Kevin Box🚀 this is quite insightful! I would be interested in knowing whether there are tools organizations can use to identify these traits among staff so that they can utilise them in team development and deployment. My two cents.

Kevin: wonderful. Coming from your previous post (...) it's clear you are a good blend of these positive animals, Sloth, Kangaroo and Dolphin among them. This animal infographic will be an excellent tool... Edward de Bono would understand it ... ;-) Sincerely, I think you have started something great... e.g: this matter is fun... and it could be taught in schools included, etc, etc Big thanks to Kevin and all of you giving ideas !!

The analogy of workplace animals is brilliant. It really makes you think about the unique strengths each team member brings and how to appreciate them effectively.
