We have been creating portraits at the highest level with no compromises, focusing on grand-scale images that compete with the best portrait painters anywhere. How do we actually compare with painters?
1) A painting is commissioned. Our works are as well. The significant difference is that a painting commission is funded up-front, but the collector has only a guess as to the final outcome. You send a picture or sit for a portrait, but much is left to chance before the final unveiling.
2) Our portraits are commissioned as well, but the difference is that you sit for the portrait session, and you and Kevin will create the initial image together in real-time. It is instantly apparent if you need more preparation regarding outfits, hair, makeup, etc. If you work with our suggestion and prepare for a once-in-a-lifetime portrait that will last 200 years, we bring our "A" game.
3) We don't charge for the portrait session. You can come to visit and sit for the portrait, and when we project the image on the wall, you will have an incredible amount of information regarding the likelihood of a fantastic outcome before you actually commission the work and pay for the project.
On something this important, would you prefer to take a chance on a painter who is guessing from camera phone photos, or do you want to sit for days or weeks before seeing the outcome (after paying in advance), or would you risk your time in an adventure, to have us both give our best efforts in a collaboration that will be ultimately as valuable as your legacy?
We challenge you to challenge us to create your initial portrait proof at our risk. Nobody buys anything they don't want in our studio. We're confident in the work and skills to take all the initial risk, and you only take on a financial commitment after you see the potential.
