Recently, I had the opportunity to create the images below for Stroll Bent Creek to highlight the 30 years of service that Rachel has given to Bent Creek. As I was reflecting on these images, my first thought was how amazing it is that someone can say & and feel that they still love what they do after so many years. YEAH! Congratulations Rachel! My 2nd thought was… With so many places searching for talent to fill available positions, why not use employment branding to highlight the core values, mission & and culture of a company to retain and/or attract new team members? I think this is an overlooked opportunity that goes beyond the traditional recruitment methods. Implementing an employment branding strategy could be the game-changing move you are looking for. I am curious… In what distinctive ways does your company express its culture, celebrate team members, & and visually represent its mission & and values? What a great tribute to Rachel who has loved her job for so many years- great photos Kelly Johnson! We try to show ourselves in action as much as possible so people can see what they are getting. We also try to highlight our team often as well for their successes and accomplishments. If you are branding yourself correctly, your mission and values should shine through a photo.

The remote environment is challenging sometimes when it comes to celebrating our team, but we do our best to come up with creative ideas - sometimes we'll mail merch, send holiday cards, issue bonuses, or take individual team members out to lunch. It's hard when we all live in different states, but we make it work. 😊
