Venturi Partners has just made a strategic move in the education sector, investing a whopping $27 million in K12 Techno Services Pvt. Ltd. Techno Services, a subsidiary of Navneet Education Limited. This investment marks the second secondary round in K12 Techno within the past eight months, highlighting the company's continued growth and investor confidence. In a recent stock exchange filing, Navneet Education Ltd announced its decision to divest a 5.12% stake in K12 Techno for $27 million while retaining a 14.35% stake in the firm. This transaction values the Bengaluru-based company at approximately $540 million. K12 Techno, led by CEO Jai Decosta, operates Orchids International Schools and offers a wide range of education, content, and technology services to over 900 educational institutions across India. Focusing on ICSE and Central Board of Secondary Education curriculum schools from kindergarten to XII, K12 Techno has established itself as a key player in major cities like Bengaluru, Mumbai, and Gurugram under the 'Orchid' brand. The company's remarkable growth story includes serving over 300,000 students and achieving a compounded annual growth rate (CAGR) of 40% over the last five years. This latest investment from Venturi Partners, sourced from its $180 million maiden fund, further solidifies K12 Techno's position in education technology. Venturi Partners joins the ranks of K12 Techno’s existing shareholders, including Peak XV Partners, Kedaara Capital, Sofina Ventures, and Navneet Learning LLP.
