This week’s #ThrowbackThursday is the BMW 2002 tii. With its fuel-injected 2.0L engine and 130 horsepower, the 2002 tii was a huge leap compared to previous models. A thrilling driving experience with a 0-60 mph time of around 8.3 seconds, and a top speed of 118 mph, making the BMW 2002 tii a true performer for its era. Despite its sporty nature, it remained practical. The four-door sedan offered ample space for passengers and everyday use, giving it a combination of performance and practicality. Overall, the 2002 tii, which stands for ‘Turismo Internationale Iniezione’ or ‘Touring International Injection’, was a new era for the brand. Some say the car that defined BMW. #ThrowbackThursday

How much do we really love the Internal Combustion Engine? I embarked on my love affair with the Electric Drive-train in 2019 (approx). The iconic BMW i3 Sport became my vehicle of choice, and despite the expected inconveniences that come with such a transition, I was completely sold on the concept. I embraced my "Electric Life" for two models until the crisis hit (which shall remain unnamed), prompting me to switch to a Plug-in option, the BMW 330e. It offered power, great grip, and an enjoyable driving experience. However, considering the distances I frequently travelled, I soon realised that being a Plug-in driver wasn't the right fit for me. So, I made the decision to return to the world of Internal Combustion Engines. This time, I opted for the BMW M135, a car that I have thoroughly enjoyed and been completely enamored with. As I mentioned in my previous post, this will be my last ICE car before transitioning back to electric vehicles. The lesson I've learned from this journey is that I loved each car for what it was, regardless of the power source. What truly mattered to me was the joy and satisfaction it brought. So, the moral of the story for me is not to sell electric vehicles themselves, but rather the fun and excitement they provide. And in conjunction with these thoughts is my adoption of the €49 ticket...
