I started with the new and challenging road of commercial pilot training, with the academy "Red Bird Aviation Flight Training Academy", hoping to achieve success in the professional-level course. DGCA ( Directorate General Of Civil Aviation)is the main civil aviation body that suspended flight operations due to the safety concerns emerging within the flying school. The situation happened all of a sudden, starving the survival of the student pilot career in the long run. It required immense dedication and hard work to master not only the academic theoretical subjects but also the practical experience, which has now fully gone in vain. This is one of the major hiccups in my life that is irreplaceable, I had immensely dedicated my time, efforts, and money all together to achieve the desired goal of completing commercial pilot training. When life gives you a reality check, you have to accept it and move on with the possible alternative or existing options. There is nothing much you can change though. Life is highly uncertain, all of my batchmates just completed their professional-level course, and I am left behind with a darker future in the middle. When you love a certain professional career, you do not want to let it go, it is a tough call. When you lose hope, then it is almost impossible to revive it back to normal life. With my experience, I learned to get as many backups within the possible selected career options, as no one knows the precise path to destiny. What are your opinions on it people? 😊

Should you care about a flight school's professional partnership?⬇️ Absolutely. A flight school's professional partnerships – its relationships with airlines, helicopter operators, and other aviation industry employers – are critical to its students' ability to gain employment after training. These partnerships open doors to employment opportunities and ensure that students receive a comprehensive and industry-relevant education. ✈️ As you pursue your aviation journey, consider the strength of a flight school's connections within the industry. This factor can significantly impact your future success in the world of aviation. #AviationEducation #IndustryPartnerships #CareerPreparation

Head of Marketing & Sales at Bostonair Group and Boston Renewables - 25 years Sales & Marketing / Operational experience across multiple sectors.
Reduced Separation Vertical Minima (RSVM) refers to a procedure in aviation that allows for reduced vertical separation between aircraft flying at different altitudes. This procedure is often used in areas with high air traffic density to increase airspace capacity and efficiency, particularly in oceanic and remote regions where radar coverage may be limited. Bostonair offers online training on RSVM. This course outlines the requirements of Regulation (EU) No 965/2012 - ANNEX V (SPA), Subpart D: Operations In Airspace With Reduced Vertical Separation Minima and FAA 14 CFR 91.180, Operations within airspace designated as Reduced Vertical Separation Minima airspace. Celebrating International Civil Aviation Day 🛫 with the best educational lunch break! BAA Training invited employees for an unforgetable experience—testing the aircraft life raft. Led by a super professional instructor, the training simulated passenger rescue after a water emergency landing✈️ It was intense but filled with positive emotions and teamwork! It’s a reminder staying open to all opportunities is always worth it! 🌍 Some interesting facts: 💡 The life raft can accommodate up to 69 people (inside and around it) – that’s 4 tons! 💡 Each life raft has 15 liters of water and food prepared. 💡 When a distress signal gis sent out, on average it takes around 3-4 hours for a rescue team to find the stranded party. 💡 You can maintain warm body temperature in water up to 4 hours in a fetal position, compared to 2,5 hours by floating. 💡 A group of people in a fetal position can form a circle and keep everyone around and inside the circle as warm, upping the success rate of survival. #LivingAviation #CareerWings #BAATraining #AviationDay #TeamWork

The Air League was the start of my aviation career. I was awarded 13 hours of flying lessons, leading me to get my PPL(A) back in 2021. If you’re thinking about starting training for your pilots licence, there’s no better way to start than with an Air League scholarship. Anyone is welcome to apply to the Air League Scholarships, there’s no upper age limit, and you could be awarded up to a full PPL’s worth of flying hours. It’s incredibly valuable: the work that the Air League do to strengthen the future of the industry at grassroots level is unmatched. We’re also the first in the UK to offer a funded Electric Flying Scholarship, leading the way for sustainable air mindedness in the next generation of aviators. Be a part of the future and see how amazing those Pipistrel Velis Electro aircraft are. Open to all working towards their PPL(A), up to x5 5 hour Scholarships available. Applications close on Sunday 31st March. If you can’t benefit, then please share: as someone in your network WILL. It costs nothing to share the post, and it may just introduce someone to an opportunity they never knew they had. The biggest barrier to young people starting a career in aviation is the financial barrier: let’s help to alleviate it. https://lnkd.in/ewCc4_K5 #aviation #flying #pilot #studentpilot #scholarship #career #opportunity #scholar #funding #sponsorship

Captain, FAA ATP, EASA & UK CAA ATPL, Gulfstream GIV, Learjet 45/75, Phenom, Military & Civilian Flying Instructor, UAS pilot ,Aeronautical Engineer, Future Flight & Green Technology, Photo & Technical Journalism, MRAeS
"In the UK and EU, it takes around 3 years to train to become qualified to work on, service and repair aircraft*. It’s a specialist engineering licence that is needed and it comes from the Civil Aviation Authority (or EASA member state). Every aeroplane we’ve ever travelled on will have been declared airworthy and signed off by a Certified engineer. The places where people can train to get this specialist licence are few and far between… and getting steadily fewer each year as airfields & opportunities are closed. The graphic below shows the most recent stats on the numbers of CAA UK registered engineers… there were 11,639 of them in total in 2021. But look how many of that total were about to reach retirement age, or were over retirement age… take them out of the total and the true figure is around 9500 instead! That is not very many people with the necessary skills and qualifications to keep us all safe in the skies above, and below. There are specialist engineering apprentices studying at #EGBN Nottingham City Airport, steadily working towards this vital qualification." Sarah Deacon *NB: Minimum 3 years - starting with General Aviation machines (e.g. SEP/MEP) - it takes several more years to then train for further qualifications ("B" licence) and specific Airliner Maintenance Type Ratings! #SaveNottinghamAirfield #GeneralAviaition #futureflight #eVTOL #eCTOL #UAM #RAM

Pilot Aptitude Tests are a form of psychometric tests that are used by airlines and aviation training organisations to gain insight into a cadet or pilot’s suitability for a specific role or training program. Looking at pilot aptitude assessments in more detail, these are used to assess the core pilot competencies set out by the International Civil Aviation Organization along with any other key areas defined by the aviation organisation (whether that be an airline, flight training school or other), with a view to gaining an understanding of a candidate’s skills, knowledge, behaviour, and motivation. So, what exactly is being tested? The core pilot competencies are: • Leadership and teamwork • Communication • Situational Awareness • Workload management • Problem solving and Decision Making • Application of Knowledge • Aeroplane Flight Path Management • Application of Procedures How to measure these competencies through pilot aptitude testing has been defined in a document by the International Air Transport Association (IATA) covering Guidance Material and Best Practices in Pilot Aptitude Testing. The guidance details 6 key areas of measurement – we’ve dropped these into a useful guide below. To learn more about these competencies and why Pilot Aptitude tests are important visit: https://lnkd.in/eucnfyxP #pilottesting #pilots #aviationindustry #toptips #psychology
