A name tag full of business cards is a great way to end a networking event! 💥 On Wednesday, the UNM Center for Sales & Business Development hosted an Anderson Networking Reception, a necessary event prior to the large UNM Career Fair taking place the next day. Business and Sales students of many disciplines took the initiative to make valuable connections with high-powered companies motivated to hire students into various roles. I enjoyed speaking with Devin Petersen, Diana A Solis, and Emily Miramontes, MBA, SNS, with General Mills. As a steadfast corporate partner of the #UNMSales program, General Mills pursues students who show hunger to put their learning to work. Reconnecting with my peers who are now part of General Mills full-time was quite persuasive. Thank you Tamari Beard and Madison Kelsh for your professionalism & warmth! Speaking with Robert Chmielewski from Cintas expanded my considerations for what companies I could succeed in moving forward based on my current work. B2B is the future everyone! Thank you for your time and I look forward to more connections. Professors like Dimitri Kapelianis (pictured) & Jeffrey Castle and Outreach Managers like Kelsey Molo are why the UNM Center for Sales & Business Development has been so successful-- constantly encouraging and supporting student success-- we are so lucky to have great role models who care about connection and expanding opportunities. Thank you for coordinating such valuable experiences, and I cannot wait to attend the next networking event!
