Legitimate experienced security companies are hard to find. For those of us who do exist in Texas, we are competing with cheap inexperienced security companies and off-duty cops who lack private property authority to enforce a business’ rules or trespassing while being unlicensed / uninsured. Bottom line: Hiring either of the two above are high risk and could lead to lawsuits or other legal problems. Just get it done right the first time and hire legitimate security professionals like myself and others.

The in-house legal market is warming up! Over the past 12 months, we saw a slow down in hiring. But, it seems that the market is starting to gain strength. Talking with GCs at VCs, it sounds like their workload is picking up and we're seeing the knock on effect with hiring in the tech space. Businesses focusing on profitability have increased the sizes of their sales teams and the demand for commercial counsels is high.
