Lately, I've been digging deep into the history of money and how it was created. Before we start chasing after money and thinking that a piece of paper, which essentially has no intrinsic value, can change everything, it's important to understand its original purpose. Money was initially made for the exchange of value. But over time, we began saving and collecting money with the hope that one day we would be rich. This mindset has contributed to why many people are afraid to invest in themselves and improve their skills. Personally, I have invested close to $4,000 on coaching and gaining knowledge because I know that no investment will yield a better return in the long term than investing in yourself. Investing in yourself will eventually help you make more money. It’s about shifting your mindset and looking at the world from a different perspective. There’s no use for money if you're not using it to improve yourself or become better. This is the lesson I've learned over the past year, and it has helped me grow tremendously. What determines what we invest in? The value and worth of the object or result. This is true with stocks, homes, partners, careers… Everything we do is guided by a determination of if it holds value for us. Why do so many of us forget that when it comes to ourselves? You can be wanting, seeking, hoping to achieve, accomplish, and succeed, but as long as you continue seeing yourself as the rock in the dirt, you’ll never be raised up. It all starts with YOU! You cannot wait for someone to realize your value and find you worthy. YOU need to see yourself as valuable and worthy! YOU need to pick yourself up and polish yourself! And YOU need to put your beautiful glittering self on display and show it to the world! Only when YOU realize how amazing you are can the world see it too.

This mindset around money doesn’t make a lot of sense to me. We are willing to use our credit to invest in things that won’t become an asset to us and then question whether or not it’s a good idea to invest in an income-producing asset. When I considered starting my online business, it wasn’t so much the upfront price that stood out to me as much as the cost to stay where I was. I was afraid to be stuck in the same place in 10 years knowing I hadn’t done anything to try to change it. Money Making is not a game of saving. It's about strategic leverage. What do I mean by that? In the past, our parents and grandparents used to just save. Even keeping it in an FD or low-risk assets worked for them. The goal was: - Focus on 1 active income - Budget and Save - Sustain their lifestyle This does not work anymore. You cannot just depend on pure hard work (working 12 hours a day) nor can you be completely risk averse. You need to learn how to leverage. I don't mean taking unsensible and unproductive debt. - Own assets (Cashflow and Growth) - Build passive income streams - Work on money-making skillsets And the best way to do this is to learn from the ones who have achieved it.
