Started fleshing out the core concept of my next script. I plan to combine Slasher, Psychological and Supernatural horror, with inspiration taken from "Duel, Breakdown, Road Games, and Joyride." The goal is to have this one written within the same timeframe, three months. I have had this idea for months, put it off to write "Aberration", but now its is back on the plate. I am bringing in Brian M. Wixson again on this one. The Wonder Twins plan to do it again! This script will be written under our business entity, "Shared Brain Entertainment." Stay tuned!!!

I never thought I'd kinda cross-post from Bookface, but here's my expanded bundle of opinions on the new Fallout series on Prime. Ok, I'll say it: the Fallout Series is absolutely amazing. As a more than two decades-long fan, it gave me the same feeling as I got when playing the game. The opening of Vault 33 and ... Well, see for yourself. Welcome to the Wasteland. This is exactly what I would have given a limb to work on as a set builder and prop maker (the Power Armors, man! The towns! The dusty, broken, rotten buildings and cars! EVERYTHING!)!!! As a gamer, it's something I'd never believe I'd see on the screen, purely because I didn't think producers would have the guts to do it without completing sanitising the product. I thought it would not be adaptable, because in the game series, the lore is so developed that I believed it couldn't be rendered succinctly enough to get the message across without losing its meaning. I was wrong, and I'm glad of it. The actors are impeccable, pretty much all of them, with interesting characters and actual emotional meat on their irradiated bones, even if Walton Goggins absolutely steals the show as usual. Most actors just can't compete with him (and I'm someone who doesn't like people with Teeth on screen, so that's saying something). On a less fun note, the opening scene, with everything happening in the world at the moment, is a good reminder of how quickly we can lose everything. Fallout was never just a video game series, it was a cautionary tale. A tale that has been ignored for a long, long time. But it's out loud again, so maybe listen up. So, remember: War. War never changes.

TT-051: Power Corruption/Dark Fantasy A dark a gloomy tower with unknown shadowy entities scattered throughout? Let's split up gang! For this prompt, I've had this motif stuck in my head from one of my previous unfinished projects that I've always wanted to expand upon. One of the main things that's been stopping me is I didn't have a good Harpsichord VST, but CineSamples Black Friday sale really came through this year. This Harpsichord sounds SIQQQ 🤙🤙🤙 It's such a unique and iconic instrument. It's perfect for those Medieval/Renaissance/Dark Fantasy vibes, which is fitting for the antagonist motif I've been dying to write. I originally intended to compose a boss fight with this, but it ended up being more of an interchangeable villain or level theme. The boss fight will come later and it's gonna he*kin RIP dude. Harpsichord battle themes are intense and I'm looking forward to seeing how this VST sounds in that scenario, especially once it's combined with various other instrument layers to added intensity. That's part of why I chose to write a solo Harpsichord piece. I wanted to know how it would sound, and it really can hold the fort on its own. Just imagine this in a game setting; You're adventuring through this castle with this theme playing, and then you encounter the antagonist and all of a sudden the music just explodes into chaos. 😱😱😱 What kind of instruments would you want to hear for the boss fight? Hey, Larian Studios, this should make you proud: I'm crunching through the data on my romance in games survey, and out of 446 respondents, 50% cited Baldur's Gate 3 as a favorite romance game of all time. Mass Effect and Dragon Age are still very high on the list, but you've surpassed every other game by far. AMAZING JOB, folks! And an extra special shout-out to Baudelaire Welch for their leadership on the romances. BG3 has made a big difference to the future of romance in games, judging by preliminary data. I'll publish more as it emerges (and in my upcoming book), but thought you would want to know about this.

It's kind of gratifying that all of the Community Copies I made available last night have been snapped up (people are obviously finding the game, and want to have it), but a little disappointing that I've made no actual sales. Hi everyone, hope you're all doing well! I wanted to share a cinematic intro I created for my game, Talebound.  This intro plays when you start up the game and seamlessly transitions into the main menu (not shown in this video), which is inside the book. The concept is that different menus, such as New Game, Load Game, Controls, Settings, and Credits, are on various pages inside the book. The pages turn as you navigate between menus. Note: The development of Talebound is currently on hold while I focus on my other game, To Hades and Back. More information on that will be released soon!
