A UCLA WEEKEND TO REMEMBER IN PARIS! 🐻☕️🇫🇷 During the Paris 2024 Summer Olympics, Associated Students UCLA transformed a local café into a vibrant gathering spot. The pop-up café provided a welcoming space for UCLA alumni, fans, and athletes to connect, enjoy some Parisian charm, and engage in insightful discussions with former Olympians and professional athletes and coaches. With every detail thoughtfully curated, the Bruins spirit was alive and well in the heart of Paris. Looking forward to continuing the journey towards LA 2028! 🌍🏅🇺🇲

Last week I attended on a really good education with CAG Syntell Summer School 2024 – Design Thinking and Systems Engineering. Would like to say a big thanks to the amazing teachers Dinesh Verma and Tom Strandberg for all the good the lessons. From the week I learned a lot about systems engineering, different methods and how to implement them. Then also that there are a lot of similarities between a normal product design process and a process for developing a system 😃 #knightec #systemsengineering #syntellsummerschool #designthinking
Last week the 25ᵗʰ Scandinavian Summer School Week took place on Utö! We would like to thank the 80 professional students who worked hard from early morning to late evenings to make this yet another successful and fun learning experience. This would not have been possible without our fantastic team of teachers and guest lecturers – thank you! We are already looking forward to Summer School 2025 and forthcoming reunions of Summer and Winter School alumni. Best regards, CAG Syntell Summer School team #SystemsEngineering #SystemsArchitecting #LogisticsEngineering

Participating in the Global Art National Competition was a milestone in my children’s life, one that we embraced with both excitement and a bit of apprehension. As a parent, watching your child step into a world of creative expression and face the challenges of competition is both a proud and humbling experience. The preparation for the competition was an opportunity for my children to immerse themselves in the world of art, honing their skills and nurturing their creativity. More than just about winning or losing, this journey was about building confidence, learning perseverance, and understanding the value of dedication. Every stroke of the brush and every moment spent refining their work was a step toward personal growth. Though the results of the competition were important, we emphasized to our children that the experience itself was the true reward. Winning or losing was secondary to the lessons learned along the way. The competition offered a platform to showcase their abilities, but more importantly, it was an opportunity to interact with peers, share ideas, and be inspired by the creativity of others. One of the most significant outcomes of participating in the competition was the boost in self-confidence. My children learned to believe in their abilities and take pride in their work. They also discovered the importance of resilience, understanding that not every effort leads to a win, but every effort is a step forward in their journey as an artist. Additionally, the experience taught them valuable lessons in humility and sportsmanship. In conclusion, participating in the Global Art National Competition was a meaningful experience for my children one that went beyond the results of the competition. It was an opportunity to grow, to learn, and to embrace the joys and challenges of artistic expression. Whether they won or lost, the most important thing was the confidence they gained, the skills they developed, and the understanding that success is not just measured by trophies, but by the courage to participate and the willingness to continue improving.
