Now if only smokers would put their stinking butts in a bin (specifically for them) rather than all over the floor it could be a huge step in the right direction (but unfortunately lots - not all - smokers have no consideration for others in this regard! (Perhaps even a deposit System like on plastic bottles in Germany - 1c per 10 butts - there could be some very rich people!) (yes I do realise this is not realistic but the amount of profit cigarette firms make why could it not be done???)

What a good solution! It would be nice if smokers would be careful not to throw their cigarette butts anywhere. Between this company and the smokers, there are some unseen hands, usually volunteers, who walk along beaches and mountains picking up smokers' cigarette butts. It's great to recycle, but it's much better not to generate waste or to generate it in a responsible way.

Danke für den Beitrag, aber wäre es nicht sinnvoller den Abfall erst gar nicht zu produzieren?

Very interesting to recycle the cigarette buts, but maybe so much better to not make them in the first place. Stop smoking, avoid lung cancer and asthma. Help people to live a healthy life.🙏🏼🙏🏼

Why even have cigarettes which I don’t see any benefit of for the society and then recycle

I remember someone suggesting using cigarette butts for insulation once? It was in Austria I think?
