It's Fun Fact Friday, a special day because it's Good Friday! It's the day when our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, paid the ultimate price for our sins.
Today's fun fact is about the purpose of Registered Apprenticeships.
The purpose of registered apprenticeships is to provide individuals with a pathway to gain valuable skills, earn a living wage, and establish a career in a specific occupation. These programs offer employers a reliable way to develop a skilled workforce tailored to their industry needs, ensuring a steady supply of qualified workers.
Just as Jesus had a purpose, Registered Apprenticeships' purpose is to provide hope, courage, and an opportunity to help individuals start and stay in their careers.

Hello, Hello, Hello, Hello everyone. Guess what day it is? You guessed it. It is my favorite day of the week. But it is also also Good Friday. And I have been doing a lot of reflecting and just a lot of praise, thanking God for sending us His only begotten son to this world to save it so I can have this opportunity so I can live. No, I am not perfect. Yes, we've all fallen short, but guess what? God and Jesus forgives. And that's the whole reason why we're celebrating Good Friday is because a perfect man who lived the perfect life was brought to his death. So I can live. And I don't think I have a brother or sister or friend that would put down his life for me. So I think Jesus today on this Good Friday for bearing the cross, for dying on the cross. And guess what? Three days later he rose again. So across all grave couldn't keep my Lord and Savior Jesus now because he had a purpose. He had a purpose. And we're living, we're living and breathing his purpose every day as. Always my name is Joy Jamerson. I am one of the program managers here at H CAP, which is the Healthcare Career Advancement program where National Labor Management organization that focuses on building equitable and innovative career pathways in healthcare. And then we are also a Department of Labor Industry Intermediary and Apprenticeship Ambassador building, educating and expanding registered apprenticeships in the healthcare industry. So today's. Fun fact, it's going to be in the ligament of Good Friday. The purpose of registered apprenticeships, right? What is the purpose? What is the reason why an employer should take a chance on implementing a Registered Apprenticeship Program? What is the reason? What is the purpose? Why a sponsor, a community agency, or nonprofit or educational institution should implement registered apprenticeships in their organization? And here's the reason why. Because we're creating opportunities for individuals to get into the career fields, the career fields that they want to get into. So many times people are faced with obstacles and barriers and trials and tribulations that the first thing they quit is is is school. 90 I I'm not gonna even give a percentage, but half of the individuals that start school in the fall don't return in the spring. And why is that? It's because of finances. It's because I can't. I can't go and get my education because I have to work and and put a roof over my family's head. But guess what? There is a way that we can do both. There is a way that we can do school and work and get paid. To do both and is registered apprenticeships. Registered apprenticeships provide that earn while you learn is an earn while you learn model. It provides that opportunity for that individual to go to school to get the education and work learning the on the job skills that they will need to do in that occupation. Isn't that just fabulous? Isn't that just wonderful? So why should an employer implement Why should educational institutions implement why should nonprofits. A community agencies implement registered apprenticeships because of this. It provides that opportunity. It provides that chance. It knocks down those barriers and those trials and tribulations that that individual is going to. And guess what? You're setting it up. You're setting them up for a better future, for their family. You're setting them up to have faith in themselves. You're setting them up for success. And that's what it's all about, right? Setting people up to be able to be successful. So with that being said, everyone enjoy your Good Friday. If you're off, meditate, relax, reflect, enjoy your family and until next Friday. Does this.
